I recently got a Caldwell stable table, and can say it's sloppy in some places I wish it wasn't, but once you get it locked down and sit on it, its pretty stable. Never be close to a permanent bench, but it works great for me, just pull the top off then throw it all in the back of the pickup and move to a different location, or dog town. Plenty good enough for head shots on p-dogs at 400 yards. In hind sight I shoulda just built one but this was easier and quicker. Means more time shooting and less time in the shop.
