Shotgun sight for night?

I'm having a hard time seeing my shotgun sight at night what do yall do to remedy this? My mount goes around the rib so it can only mount light on the bottom on barrel.

Go to a fishing store & get a couple"bobber lights". You can dim them down with a magic marker. I have also read on here that some guys use small chemical light sticks that are also found in fishing stores.

I shoot a Remington 870 with ghost ring sights and run a red night eyes headlamp. The front sight has a white dot and I set up my headlamp so when I'm looking down the sights the very fringe of the beam catches that white dot and lights it up very well.
I bought a VRL-1 and mesa tactical magazine clamp (with picatinny rail) to mount a gun light, but my partner has yet to buy a headlamp and so he has been using my gun light to scan with. Killed a double with just the headlamp setup Saturday night, one at 19 yards and one at 43 yards...bang flop. Don't know how much of a need I'm going to have for this here kill light LOL.

Put a red dot on it. I had to do it for my buddies. Too much shooting over them with regular sights. People pick their head up to see the sight because they have a hard time so they shoot over. A real dim headlamp would light it up too. My headlamp I use for scanning lights mine up on my other shotgun. But it is fiber optic.
