Shotgun suppressor question

I hunt crows a lot using the run and gun method with my electronic call. I will get about 20-25 per day. I am wondering if anyone has used a shotgun suppressor for this use and how well it worked.

After you start shooting at them they aren't real interested in coming in again.

I haven't shot a SilencerCo Salvo 12, but got to handle one on a 28" barreled Beretta A300 Outlander (same semi-auto I use for hunting). I figured it would be heavy and awkward to swing...but it was actually pretty nice. The added weight wasn't that noticeable unless you plan on carrying it a long ways or marching through tall grass when upland hunting. Otherwise, if you run and gun/sit on a stand it helps make for a smooth swing. I definitely plan on buying one in the future.

The Salvo won't fix your problem. We've developed subsonic loads using 0000. and it makes it a little quieter but your still gonna spook the piss outta them their Crows you're huntin. They do work however, and make the shotty a much more comfortable gun to shoot.

Don't get me wrong, I love the Salvo and Silencer Co. puts out an awesome product, and I have no regret purchasing mine, as a matter of fact I may purchase another... I'm just saying if that is your only application for it, I'm not seeing it "not" spook the other crows you don't kill, ya know.
