Should I keep my Johnny Stewart Preymaster or upgrade?

My teenage son and I want to start coyote hunting and I was wondering if the Preymaster I have, but never used, would be adequate for the job.

Or should upgrade into a better calling system?

Thanks

Nothing wrong with the Prey Master. If you want to upgrade, do it for other reasons than thinking it is inferior. I called in a lot of coyotes with mine when I had it. The sounds on it are great.

Should stretch out the extension cord, which is somewhat short, of just set the whole unit out 40 or 50 yards?

Thanks for the feedback.

put the speaker in front of you as far as the cord will allow. face speaker the direction you think the coyotes are. sit in front of a bush, tree, fence post, farm equip or other to break up you outline. start a sound, go to full volume, put the controller down and just let it play.
sit still, still, still. move head and eyes slowly to scan side to side. kill them when they come. if they dont come after about 15 to 20 minutes go to different spot and do it all over again. good luck.

I called in just as many Coyote with my Preymaster as I did with my FoxPro. I sold the JM Preymaster and wish I still had it now.
