The new knives came in while I was away fighting fires. Only got two as the 3rd knife was sent back.

The top knife is a nice little skinner made by J. Rossi out of Argentina. It fits the hand and should make a great coyote skinner.
The bottom is an Abbott knife made with D2 steel and Ivory handles. It's an older knife (1992) but newer than my Uncle Henry! Don't know if I'll be skinning too many coyotes with it but couldn't turn down a good deal.
Now that I have the knife bug, I'm looking at lots of makers and planning a few more purchases. Besides, with the price of gasoline at almost $3.50 per gallon, I can purchase a really good knife for the cost of a tank of gas! How's that for a justification!! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif
And, the knife will last forever!! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grinning-smiley-003.gif
