Side by Side shotgun hammer issues

I just picked up a NICE Rossi Amadaeu side by side coach gun 12ga off a friend for a great price. I was checking out my new addition and everything worked fine, the hammer, trigger, release mech, etc. I just pulled it out of the safe again and I noticed that the right hammer does not cock now. I can freely move it, and there is normal resistance, but no "click" into the cocked position. Possible trigger assembly issues? What are your thoughts?

Try pushing forward on the front trigger. To see if it is stuck in the pulled position, that will keep the sear from engaging. If that doesn't do it you will have to pull the right lock and check if the sear spring is broken or the sear is stuck/frozen.

While not a big fan of coach guns, hunting with hammer shotguns if one of my passions.

Nice old drilling that I rebuilt

Tried moving the front trigger (right hammer). Noticed it almost moves freely back and forth compared to the rear trigger. I am guessing I will have to get inside of the assembly and see whats wrong. Your barrel is longer than mine, boy are they cool. Havent shot mine yet but looking forward to it. Hope i dont have to replace anything, or that it wont be hard to find or too expensive
