Just got back from doing some load testing on these and needless to say if they work great on coyotes it will be my new bullet!

So people who use them how do they do on coyotes and bobcats??

I used to use the Federal factory ammo for my .22-250 with the 55gr sierra hpbt...so when I started reloading I bought the #1390's thinking they were the same bullet and they definetely were not. They do however work very well at killing and saving the pelts on coyotes. Cant comment on any other species though as I've never shot them with this bullet. I did also notice they were very accurate but seemed to drift in the wind at long ranges a lot more than other bullets.

I have used them in my .223 some and have loaded a good many for 3 different 22-250's. They shoot very well and are really effective on coyotes, deer, hogs around here but with that being said I got mostly pass-thrus on coyotes and Bobcats with them in the .223 with nickel to quarter sized exits. They are Gameking bullets so I am thinking they will have a heavy enough jacket to almost always exit a Bobcat and most coyotes but with only moderate sized holes.

I'd prefer a Spitzer style bullet myself as I've gotten mixed results with an HP. On occasion I've seen the HP go through an animal and exit. Other times I've seen them explode violently. The Spitzer style has just been more reliable for me in my observations.

The 1390 bullet does not have a very high BC at .189 where the 1365 has .250 making it a better choice for long shots or wind.
