sight mark scopes

I have a buddy that has several of them and he likes them a lot. I've looked thru them at the range and they seem bright and clear from edge to edge.

I was wondering the same thing a couple of weeks ago. No one had answer for me so I went ahead and bought one, a 4-16x44mm. Here's what I've gathered so far. Scope tracks goods and has audible clicks for each turn of the turret. It has plenty of eye relief. The reticle has various brightness settings with the brightest being to bright for most applications and then dimming over a pretty broad range.( I use the lowest green setting for my night hunting) The concecpt of first focal plane reticles was pretty new to me. I really like it so far. After sighting the scope in with some factory ammo, I went with some hand loads to get a feel for every thing. At 100 yds i could see the holes happen. I didn't even use my spotting scope to verify which way to go for corrections. At the end of the day it really only matters if I like it. And I do! For what its worth though...My brother who never really shoots rifles looked through it and had this to say."It's easier for me to see what I'm doing than with your old scope"(the old scope was a nikon prostaff 3x9) If you like then take the plunge, thats what I did and so far I couldn't be happier! Oh yeah almost forgot It has a life time warranty. If it breaks they fix it.

Have 4 of them, all 3-9x40's. They are the best cheap scopes I've ever had. Lowlight performance is excellent, superb considering the price, as good or better than some "higher-end" scopes. I dial them up and down for longer range shooting quite a bit, 0 to 700yds and they stay on track so far. Glass etched reticles. They're weakest link would be the turret screws, they will strip out if tightened to much, and are kinda pre-stripped out from the get go. I applied alot of light duty loctite to help fill in the threads on all mine, which seems to have build up some tightness to the allen screws, which fit really wobbly prior, like the threaded holes were oversized to begin with.

I end up with a 4.5 x16 x 44 triple duty lighted reticle.
I mounted it on a savage bvss 22-250 and at this point I'm pretty happy with it. The ballistic reticle is hard to figure out but there is always the old school way.
