Sightron SIII 6-24x50 Mil-dot Reticle Pics

Looks nice but what's to love about it? I'm curious as to why you like this scope in more detail and if you can compare it to others you've used. I'm looking for some new glass in the magnification range to go on a 6X45 upper for pdog and long distance shooting.

Looks like this scope has tactical turrets? Nice looking by the way...what is the tube diameter?

I have this scope as well and it's very nice, 30mm tube, spot on repeatable adjustments and great glass. I have this scope on my 6mmBR and while I would love a Nightforce on that gun at almost half the cost this one works just fine.

Like Crash mention......
It is a 30mm scope with great glass, repeatable clicks, great eye relief, great customer service, lifetime warranty, and for a great price. This model doesn't have target turrets, but others do.
I believe that they rival Knightforces in almost every way. Knightforce does have better reticle selection, zero stops, and FFP. Knightforce does cost twice as much though. Some people like the Leupolds, not me.
My favorite thing about this is the repeatable clicks, it rocks! There are quite a few reviews on the scope, here are a couple.

Do you guys have any experience in comparing Sightrons to Bushnell Elite 4200's? I have a bunch of 4200's and have been happy with them.

I love mine too, for pretty much the same reasons mentioned. If it had a varmint hunter reticle, I would not buy another Leupold. It's a lot of scope for the money and should do nicely for P-dogs.

I have used a Bushnell 3200 and they do not compare. If I was buying a cheap scope, maybe it wouldn't bother me. But I want a quality piece of glass and the SIII fit the bill for me.

The SIII's are every bit the equal and better than the 4200's (IMHO) and I've had several, an example would be the 4200 Tactical 6x24x50. I had this scope on a 6.5x47 Lapua for awhile and it was nice but it has limited elevation. Also the 4200 wasn't as clear at 24 power as the SIII to my eye's, 20X and under the glass was about the same. They are both great scopes when it comes to repeatable movements but the edge goes to the SIII for upper end power clarity.

Thanks for the feedback all and thanks for the thread. I'm gonna try some digging to find comparison reviews on the bushnell 6500 elite 4.5-30 tactical and this Sightron. Or maybe even the higher variable mag Sightron.

I have a 6500 in 2.5-16 but have not checked tracking out yet. I plan to very soon as I have a load dialed in on a .25 wssm upper it resides on.

It's "Nightforce" doofus.. Apparently you've seen to many of the Wartburg girls running around lately.. (Couldn't resist)

+1 to what everyone said about Sightron being awesome..
