Im not looking for anther scope right now, and If i were I highly doubt Id look at a Simmons but I gotta know something.

I hapned to stumble across this scope because a buddy just told me he bought a White-tail classic. Well I didnt know what it was so I looked it up.

I only found one bad review of this scope online. It runs about 250$, and I was just curious if anyone actually had any experience with it.

Again, I dont want one, just curious

Well after reading some of the reviews here on it i bought one, (plex). At that time they were $119, i liked it so much i bought two more even though i didn't really have anything to put them on.

They work very well for the money and i ended up with two of them on long range rifles of mine, (.308 .260). I have no problem seeing my bullet holes out to about 400yds with them these are the plex reticules and not the mildot. I understand the mildot reticule dots are a little large.

This may be the reason for midway jacking the price back up on the plex, so they can move the mildots out, bad marketing idea as far as i'm concerned. blue

this is a Simmons WTC.

They are the only Simmons model still made in the Philipines.
They're always on sale for $119.00. A fair price for the scope.
Bushnell must have figured sales were to good to mess with it.

I have one on a Savage 22-250 that I just traded for. It's a 6.5 x 20 x 50. At first I thought, "Oh no, a Simmons, I'm going to have to replace that", however, after shooting the gun for the first time last week I was surprised. The optics are clear, and if it hold zero, I will probably be keeping it on the gun. It's not a $1,500 scope, but I don't that that kind of money to put on scopes. Wish I did, but I can't seem to win that lottery. I see Midway has them for just over a hundred bucks. I should buy another one for the .17 HMR in my future.

6.5-20x50 A.O. Yes that is a A.O. good cheap glass at $119.00. It's 3 years old. I have a few 5-6 years old on 22's

I've had one on a 788 22-250 for 'bout five years. Never had a problem with it,set it once and it's been nothing but a deathray ever since

Liked it so much I bought another one for my AR. Both are 6.5X20X50. One has the mildot and the other don't.

yes. the mil dot is very heavy as far as the reticle goes, still for groundhogs and larger critters it is useable.

I have a 6.5-20x50, a 2-10x44, and a 3.5-10x40. They are all great IMO. If I find a good deal on them I buy them. I will probably buy more of them.

I have one on my Predator Pursuit and I love it. It is clear all the way to 20X. For the money I couldn't have picked a better scope.

This pic is about 800 yards away at 20 power.

It's all skols fault i have three, and i couldn't be happier about it. That pic he posted is the reason, the scope is also a wide angle ao.
I looked the other day and they were now $250 at midway, maybe they will come back down. blue

With a name like Simmons, you know its junk!

In all seriousness, its not a bad scope for the money, I would pay $250 for two of them, let alone one. Me thinks he didn't shop around first
