I have a raccoon a skunk and a beaver. I was wondering which one would make a better bait for coyotes. Does anyone have any experiences with using them. Thanks in advance.

It's a little late in the season for this, but I had good results this past winter making "meatcicles". In other words, chop up whatever you've got WHEN FROZEN (less messy) then fill a 5 gal. bucket maybe a third or halfway w/pieces, then fill with water and freeze. It makes your bait go a long way,and it's easier to handle too. They can devour a beaver in an evening, but they gota work on the meatcicle for a while before it's gone. Might be helpful?

I'm new to this game of trapping. Should I cut up thr Beaver into pieces, if so how small in order to use in a dirt hole set or whatever u guys might suggest.

At a dirthole set you only need a chunk as big as a golf ball, even less. The bait is secondary to the attraction of the set.I know guys who don't even bait a dirthole.Just lure of some kind.A chunk with hair may be better to really get them curious.

Oh right, I'm still in hunting mode, sorry. True, it won't matter, as long as there's a scent they like. Some states you can't use visual attractors like fur so be sure to check local laws.
