Skunk scent revisited

I ordered an ounce of the  Skunk Essence Tincture -per 1 oz. bottle  and it got here today..... Lord have mercy!!!!!! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/shocked.gif I smelled something a little sour when I took the box out of my mail box and it got a little stronger when I took out a large container with electrical tape around the lid, so far nothing I couldn't handle...yet. I let both kids sniff and got a good laugh at their faces then I decided to show them how manly ol' Trashcan was.
I unwrapped the electrical tape, unscrewed the lid and pulled out a little bottle and with a big smile on my face I reached down and took a big whiff, mind you, I still hadn't opened the little bottle..... I barfed in my mouth and out my nose. Kids laughed and made fun of me. I get no respect.
This stuff is STRONG!!!! Egads, I thought antler and horn smell was rough but cripes!! Now all the windows are open in the house cause I'm trying to get the smell out before The Boss gets here, the kids are eating ice cream before dinner so they won't tell The Boss about where the smell came from and I had to have a shot of nasty Mescal Tequilla to get the skunk/vomit taste out of my mouth. I got in some bobcat, coyote and gray fox urine in the mail in week ago. 1 pink bottles. Same thing, upon getting the box out of the mailbox I smelt the stench. I thought what in the world did the postman think?

The stuff has sat in my garage for a week stinking to high heaven. I washed the bottled in soapy water this afternoon to try to stop the smell thinking it must have spilt on the outside when they put it in. No luck- its stinking through the lid? Its like osmosis through plastic I think. I have a freezer fr pelts and I threw it in there 5 minutes ago.

I am so glad I didn't have a mouth full of drink as this new laptop would be toast.

I gotta go get a towl to wipe the tears from my eyes.... James L.

I had a customer that had the carpet replaced
in his 2005 Silverado because his son spilt an
entire bottle of Doe P in the floor.
They had tried to clean it so many times in about
two weaks that the carpet was ruined.
It prolly smelled like roses compared to skunk. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grinning-smiley-003.gif
