The days of rabbits being a problem here have long past. During our Summer months there a few around to harvest but even less than say 30 years ago when I was after them most chances I got. My Dad made good money out of them as a young lad but with the introduction of Myxomatosis in 1950 their population has been cuved dramaticly. Another virus known as the Calicivirus was released about 10 years ago which has knocked them around again. They build up resistance but you need to work hard find them to hunt.
A better year for me this year though. Helps when we shoot straight. Big help using a bipod.
A fellow member from here also a Virginian and great friend to me sent the Bipod over and I never miss too often now.
