Sly as a Fox?

After a few coyotes, you wonder why anyone ever considered a fox smart........

Yeah, I don't think foxes are all that slick. The red is pretty, but I like the little woods (gray) fox best. I also don't think bobcats are really all that smart. Just damned unpredictable, and well, uh, cat like, ya know? I love bobcats, they make a stand special, but I couldn't honestly say that they're smart.

yeah i know what ya mean, i have never called before in my life and i bought a fox calling tape, and on the very first set i called one in(just to see if i could) they are not in season though so i couldn't shoot it. hey roadkill when we gonna get together? i have some land we can hunt on that the owner has a problem with coyotes.

I would say that in my expeience the coyotes are much smarter than the fox.I have had fox jump in my lap,and I don't think a coyote would ever do that.

Hey Duane, I had a coyote sneak up and pounce.... it jumped - I jumped and I watched it run back into the sage brush. I was a junior in high school(78) and using a Herters' mouse squeaker. First coyote I ever called up. TS
