Smashing the foxes!

G'day everyone!

Despite the very restrictive gun law reforms getting voted in by our parliament here in Australia yesterday, it didn't stop us from having a good night on the foxes with a 223 and some thermal gear.

Even though we had very windy conditions and had the wind behind us from our usual ambush position, we still managed to get 7 foxes (plus another two we couldn't find) over a period of 3 hours.

Foxes seem to be a lot more common here in Australia than in the USA and this area has a deadpile that attracts them for miles. I recorded it all using my Mars MT1000 Thermal and you can watch the footage here:

Sorry for the wobbles, I was using bipods and sitting on top of a hay bale so I was limited with how much horizontal movement I could make before lifting the front of the gun.

I use the red/yellow pallete as it has the least amound of eye fatigue. Any other colour your eyes need a minute to adjust to the dark when you take them away from the screen but with red it doesn't seem to effect it.
