Just clik'ed on your link, and DAMB, looks like their discontinuing the 38LRX w/turbo diode, that is my favorite iR flashlight they sold . It NoWay secret squirrel Operator sleek and trim like PEQ iluum's but it will smoke my peq15's on output, and is pretty close to the Atilla-200 on performance.
As far as the Hyperion 40 (ir), you asking about. I pretty positive You won't be disappointed. it will put out as far as you need to illum. a dog. and 'get' the mounting kit and the rheostat tail-cap when you order. I HOPE ? the Hyperion40 uses same common 18650 batteries ?
' I might be wrong ? '.. I just interpret this new (Hyperion ) line of IR flashlight they putting on-line, as they moving into a new design of Diode unit and revamping their product line. They just keeping themselves relevant and moving forward in the market and product they selling. They do put out a good solid product, but It a tight market and you can't go stagnant.
