If I remember right, That is the same trigger that is in the centerfire pumps and autos as well as the 870 shotguns. My very first recommendation is to remove the assembly and clean it very well with carb cleaner and spray with a dry lube. This reduces viscosity friction due to oil getting thick when it is cold or dirty. Next, you can find a lighter spring to replace the one that holds the trigger. If you find one with about 1/2 the rate of the original you will still be very safe. Look at stainless steel springs if they are available in your local stores because they are typically lighter in pressure. This alone got the trigger in my older 742 down to 4 lbs without sacrificing any safety. Add a trigger shoe if you want a lighter feel as well. Good luck
