Squirrel calls for Coyotes???

Have you guys had any luck using Squirrel calls for Coyotes or fox? I was debating using one for calling them and wondered if anyone has had any luck with them

I have tryed the squrrel distress in the woods sometimes
No luck so far but I havn't stop trying.

We walked to a stand the other night and turned the squirrel call on at about 15 on the foxpro. A coyote showed up before the sound had time to loop. He was there in 30 seconds tops. That is the only time i've tried it and it worked.

I use the sound successfully often. I use both a Faulk's handcall, and, the Grey Squirrel Distress on my FX3. Both work well. Here in the Ozark timber we usually have a lot of squirrels. While deer hunting I have witnessed on two different occasions coyotes chasing squirrels. I've scraped through a lot of coyote poop and have seen the little squirrel claws mixed in. Some years when we have huge bumper crops of squirrels I've seen the coyotes crap be nearly all little squirrel claws. The sound isn't my No. 1, but it is a usable sound to put in the mix occasionally.

I have used it [on my Fox Pro] 3 or 4 times and have gotten 2. I will continue to use it in areas that I have called allot with other distress calls.
