Squirrel Hunt

Went yesterday morning and got 3 for 3 shots. Saw 2 more but didn't get a shot at them. It has been hot and dry here but was about 62* yesterday morning and felt good. The squirrels are cutting oaks mostly as they seemed to have stripped the hickories already. TTT

It is a 1975 model 10-22 with a Volquartsen barrel and a Jewell trigger. The scope is a fixed 6x Burris mini rimfire-all in all a dandy squirrel rifle. TTT
 
I like it because of the size primarily. I don't like a scope that looks like it has a rifle attached below it!! I also like the fixed 6x power too especially for a squirrel rifle. However this particular model is a bit critical as far as eye relief and optic aperture. It does have an ao which is good for focusing at different distances and correcting parallax ect. It seems like it is difficult to find a quality small scope. TTT
