Squirrels!

due to my insomnia, ive been awake all night long... And now, in less thatn an hour, i can finally head to the woods to slay a beast so great, and feared only two words can describe it. Grey, and Squirrely.. Yeah, im this bored. Should be a fun day in the squirrel woods, nonetheless.

Ok... not so fun.

came around a corner and heard some crashing, figured my buddy jumped some deer, so i crouched down and waited. Out of nowhere a bear id say went high 200's low 300's burst out of the brush and stops dead as it sees me. I quickly scrambled up a tree,(bad idea now, but i panicked) the bear just stood there, refusing to leave, despite my shouting. I fired a couple of pistol rounds into the ground and finally he ambled off. Didnt even get a squirrel.

What, you didn't have a big knife to jump out of the tree and stab him with??? LOL!

Thats why I carry extra drawers in my hunting pack! LOL!

I got one a couple weeks back with my 17 marlin right behind the shoulder about 70 yards lol. It was a mess lol

I did, however, get 4 nice fat fox squirrels with my TC Contender pistol yesterday. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif
