Continuing the pool saga today with the stamp job (Bored out of my mind,we have had 3 inches of rain since yesterday and lots more on the way)
Anyway we had a break in the rain and got the crette done. The crette was poured and floated smooth. Then it was time to stamp. Its a simple proccess of rubber stamps beat into the surface. The release agent is thrown down (Everywhere and on Everything) /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smiliesmack.gif Snap a couple lines and go for it.
Once done its pressure washed, the control joints are cut and its time for a serious pool cleaning. The release agent is silicone based and floats so cleaning went quite fast. In a couple weeks it gets acid washed to make it look more like real stones. Then its fence time and slap in the finishing touches. Here it is so far.
I hooked up the low-voltage lights on the retaining wall and in the steps. Looks nice at night.
So far so good if I can only keep walking up right long enough to finish it. I started framing this 12x12 pavilion yesterday then the rain started. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/angry-smiley-055.gif Will end up with cedar shakes and custom copper flashing.
Thanks for peeking! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grinning-smiley-003.gif
