Starline or jagemann brass

Will be reloading for my new S&W M&P 223. Have never used either brass and their about the same price. Recommendations?

Starline is good, but I've been really impressed with Jagemann. I was using mostly LC for the last several years, but have completely switched over to Jag for all my 223s. The weight is very consistent, it seems to last more firings than LC, and comes fully prepped (at least in the 556/100 round bags). You may have to run a mandrel through some of the case mouths as they can get dinged in shipping. General internet wisdom says that Nosler brass is made by Norma, but I've been told by a good source that it's actually made by Jag. Anyways, I don't think you can go wrong with either brand.

As I understand it, they mostly manufacture brass for other OEM's and have only been selling under their own brand name for a short time. If it is chamfered, it's VERY light but has no burrs on the interior or exterior of the case mouth. With that being said, I do put a light chamfer on the brass. You will need to run a mandrel through as many of the necks need to be straightened out from "dinging" during shipping. Also, the flash holes appear to be deburred and I believe the primer pockets are squared (my sinclair primer pocket squaring tool will not remove material from inside the primer pocket). As I said in my previous post, I'm very impressed with their 556 brass (that's all I've bought so far) and will continue to buy it over LC/WW/RP etc.

"Seems funny only Natchez sells their stuff.

Nobody else."

I there a point there or just an observation?

Sig Sauer makes some very nice brass, picked up a 100 ct bag in 223 to try. Have loaded their 22-250 brass, very good stuff. 223 Less than 30.00/100.
