Steiner Scope Service

My Steiner rifle scope ain't broken, but I have a friend who has one that needs servicing.

Anyone know where one can get a Steiner rifle scope serviced? Steiner doesn't even want to discuss scope servicing---a very stark "NEIN"!!

Someone told me that their scope line may have been a jount venture with Leupold. I haven't talked to them yet.

I bought Steiner binos because someone I knew wore his out over many hard years of use and when he sent them back for repair he was sent a new pair free of charge.

I wish that they had said "JA" to repairing my friend's Steiner rifle scope.

I also have a Steiner scope. It is certainly a quality scope, but I hope that it never needs any service.
 
I was looking at the policy from them and see its only a 10 yr limited warrantee. I always thought Steiner was forever, but I see its not.
I do like the 8x30 binoculars Ive had 20yrs I got for $5 at a garage sale.
 
Thanks 5spd---I didn't know about their 10 year policy either.

I'll bet that $5 investment of yours has paid for itself many, many times!
