looking for a good aftermarket stock for a new stevens 308. am having a tough time finding one that i know forsure fits. i read that it will fit a savage 10/110 but then i read that it will not becasue the stevens is a centerfeed. can someone help me out and point me a the right direction

How much do you want to spend? Here is a REALLY good one and can be had in both Centerfeed and staggered feed.

If your Stevens is a centerfeed (4.4" action screw spacing, magazine is attached to the stock not the action) then you have a number of options. Any stock that will fit a Savage short action will fit the Stevens. Here's a link that will help get you started.
