Seems like every time I watch this show I am yelling at the T.V.

"Hey, do we have a depth Micrometer?' Then dill hole responds, "A what?"

"If you cant use what we got here at hand. This [beeep] is simple."

Building guns is not simple and if you do not know most if not all of the tools needed to build them.... Save us all and quit the show.

Oh and you are getting paid to have the show on air. Quit telling the camera man to go away.
 
I feel yur pain brotha!!

I liked the episode where they had to make dummy rounds for a bazooka.
The rounds had to me non-lethal to be used for a public demonstration.
Will said, "The only way to know if they are non-lethal is to get shot by one."
So he allowed them to shoot him with the dummy round!
An appropriately named round for the stunt.

Apparently, they don't know much about mathematics!!

The disclamer at the start of each show say's it all..

If a getto goblin tries some of the stuff as they do it, they will suffer the consequences. They have been warned..
On the other hand, its not an instructional show as to how or how not to do something, it's just what it is, entertainment.
They have their way of doing things and then there's the proven right way..
I refer back to the previous line..

DON'T TRY THIS AT HOME!!!

Those that know better, won't be doing it...
 
They have to add drama for the show to keep it interesting for the masses.

I could film myself building up an AK or an AR straight out and post it up for yous to watch.

5 minutes in and boredom would set a number off on another path.

Gun building really is not that interesting to those who do not build or shoot.

Unfortunately they have to appeal that outside audience for ratings and viewing numbers.

Yeah. It just amazes me however. You run a gun building business and it seems that most common things that one would use to do so is thrown to the wind with theses guys.

It is just frustrating. My girlfriend who is anti guns to begin with even knows that they are not making sence. She has never shot a gun.

Take her out with a .22 and shoot some cans and bottles. She will be putty in your hands. Turned a couple anti gun girls into shooters. Warning though once they start they will bug you every day to go shooting.
 
Yeah the show is pretty entertaining. I watch it. I'm a journeyman machinist and i can't tell you how much money these guys wasted on mills and lathes when you see them grinding most of the time not to mention using hand drills in a vise while standing next to a drill press. But i do watch the show, cuz in my opinion they regularly pull off some cool shiznit....

"Thats a good group" I love when they shoot at 25 yards in their indoor range and call it a "good group." Im just sitting their thinking "Well heck,my red ryder will do that at 25 yards"

I have yet to see anything on that show they buid that was "cool"

 
The suppressed AK and the suppressed Saiga 12 gauge were both cool builds.

Like anything else, some stuff is just not for everyone.

Unless someone is into milsurps, military style arms or gun building then the show probably isn't for them.

I do however agree that most of their stuff is crap.

Well everthing they've made so far is "cool" enough for me to watch on TV. because you know it's TV.
 
Try working at a gun shop...and having people come in one after another asking if they can buy "red jacket" guns here...gets old quick. But one thing that is great about the show is that it is putting a gets the public interested in guns in a positive fashion. the last thing we need is more fuel to the antis fire...at least this shows people guns can be interesting, not bad.

on a side note, I'd work in a gunshop in a heartbeat and go to gunsmithing school. too bad there's no good gun shops around where i live and the nearest gunsmithing school is out of state although i would like to work at the cmp south location thats around 30-50 miles from where i live and have yet to go inside it...

I have two good friends who had gun shops.They were both shooters and enjoyed guns and shooting,until they worked in their gun shops 6 days a week for a few years.Now neither one of them seems to care about being around guns when they have time off.
I guess it might get old if you have to pay the bills and listen to the "customers"all day.
 
I've been doing it a little over two years and it gets old some days but I still love guns more than anything which over rides the idiot customers
