Suggestions for .243 Coyote Bullet?

85gr. speer if you are reloading. i use 45gr re19 and 85gr. speer, coyote hides are worth nothing here in arkansas so thats the bullet i use.

I use the serria 85gr. HPBT game king. I use the same bullet on deer too.

do you just wan't to kill them?
are you interested in shooting at longer ranges 600, 800, 1000?
are you planning to keep fur
do you reload?
whats your rifle twist?

I've shot 75Vmax, kill great
I've shot 85 HPBT Game kings, kill great, terrible BC
I've shot 85 Nosler BTs, shoot great
Getting 87 Vmax and 87 VLDs (should offer best of both worlds)
I've shot 95 Berger VLDs, shoot great
I've shot 105 Amax, shoot great
I've shot 105 VLD's (need a fast twist to shoot them)

George,

Try this load, it was our "club" load and shot well under MOA for 7-8 fellas.

243 Win
70 gr BT
39.0-39.5 grs IMR 4895

Remember to start low and work up.

Al 37.5 of I4064 and an 85 sierra bthp

65 grain V-max with 38.0 grains H4895 works great for me. It is the starting load so it is only running about 3500 fps but it shoots little holes at 100 yards. I posted on here before that the groups were .68" but I looked at my target down stairs last night and the group was actually .46". I've never used it on a coyote so I can't really say what it will do to them, but I'm going to guess make them hit the ground.

what he said

I have to throw in the 70 grn Speer TNT. Pushed along by a full dose of Varget, I have gotten great accuracy and as fur friendly as any I have used.
