Summit Predator Pod

OK, I admit until now I had never heard of a Predator Pod.
However, it appears to me that it's designed more towards deer/turkey hunting. Not predator hunting.

#1: It weighs 40#!!
#2: The height is non-adjustable @ 6'.

Just my opinion, but I would only use it for deer/turkeys, where I could place it & use it all day in one spot.

it funny I was just looking at that it looks cool but i am not carrying 40lb in and out of the woods over and over again

I’ve got one have used it for one season. I like it. I use it for deer hunting primarily. It is heavy, but manageable I hunt public land and some of the best areas don’t have trees that would accept a stand. I’ll hike it in ¾ of a mile or so about a week before season and hide it in some buck brush in the area I’m going to hunt then on opening morning I don’t have to hump it in with all my other stuff.
I haven’t done it yet, but I plan on changing the seat, the back rest that it comes with is not comfortable I’m going to install one of those bass buggy type one piece seats.
As far as predator hunting I could see it being useful in areas that are flat and have some sage or other brush that predators can easily disappear in where a little elevation would help, I’ve seen where people will use a small step latter also.

well, I had not seen it before but thank you because i will have one.... ... I have lots of places where it will work perfectly.... most are places where I can just leave it set up all weekend for a 3 day hunt.... that way I dont have to keep hauling it.... and in states where you can hunt from a vehicle it would be great in my opinion from a truck bed...

May look at the "Varmint Buster" from Woodsey Too". Weighs only 25 pounds. Arm and rifle rest included. 360 degree shooting. They also have an "Elite" model that i need to post pictures of. Here is a picture of the Varmint Buster on our platform.

Where my dad lives in Michigan, this would be perfect for hunting the clearcuts . They are grown up with oak scrub about neck high and THICK.

I hunted with him there last year and we had deer move through relatively close. You could hear them but not see them. This would be perfect for deer. There were a lot coyote tracks in one of the clearcuts. I imagine it would give you an advantage with them as well. You could see them, but they would have to be right under you practically before they saw you.
