Superformance 35 grain V max's 4000 FPS?

Oops, sorry Catshooter, not V-max, NTX. Superformance 35 grain NTX is what their called. Supposed to be "lead free" and advertised at 4000 FPS? I was wondering if they were solid copper or what? And would really like to know how they perform on coyote size animals.

JD57:

My understanding is the NTX is a mono-solid (made of gilding metal - perhaps a 5% zinc and 95% copper mix(?) or some similar mixture.

As such, likely long for weight thus early reports are they are quite accurate at 35 grains (length allows them to be seated close[er] to the lands like say a 50 gr. conventional lead bullet's length would allow.

I haven't read any terminal performance reports yet per the Web.

You can google Hornady for this kind of info....
