Suppresed .17 rem

I do. It's a HTG Aris. It reduces the bark of the .17 Remmy to less than .22 long rifle. No need for any shooting muffs or ear plugs at all. It is wonderful and I wish I got one years ago.

It did change the point of impact of my bullets on target but that was an easy 5 minute fix. There was no loss of accuracy and I am anxiously awaiting springtime so I can wear out a few hundred ground squirrels with it!

All I can say is if you aint got a can, get one!

Did not run it over my chronograph but never heard of a suppressor slowing a bullet down any. I did shoot for groups and the accuracy was unchanged as well, it just hit a different place on the target requiring me to adjust my scope a bit.

That is the same can that I use on my .223 AI, my AR-15, and my .220 Swift and it work very well on them all.

I have heard that cans slow down bullets (a little), but nothing with facts and numbers. I can't figure out why... I have never run my can over a clock, but I'll try it in the spring.

I think that's a myth facilitated by the fact that you have to keep the bullet under the speed of sound to get really quiet.

My 308, 300blk and 5.56 are all within a few fps when comparing suppressed and un-suppressed.

Like Rusty, mine sounds like a .22 long rifle with shorts going off. Wish I would've gotten my suppressor years ago too. My .17 Fireball is also very quiet with the suppressor. I'm running the S.A.S. Ti Sentinal.

I also haven't chrono'ed with and without the suppressor, but I can't figure out any way that the suppressor is going to slow the bullet. Many people report better accuracy with suppressors, but I've never read anyone that has found a loss of fps.
