Survey Time: What’s better, solo or Partner Hunting?

I'm surprised how many say solo. It's much easier to cover all the terrain and angles with a buddy or two. Personally, I like a 3-man crew, provided they all know what they're doing.
Can't speak for everyone else but this is the main reason I go solo. In my area birds and big game dominate the hunting world and die hard coyote hunters are hard to find. Currently these are my partners if I were to go out with anyone.
Partner 1. Great shot, good conversation but doesn't care about coyote hunting at all besides getting outside.
Partner 2. Newbie with good drive and willingness to learn but not a good shot and is always wanting to walk "just over the next hill" also never has time to hunt.
Partner3. Loves coyote hunting but also a solo guy who would rather sit one stand for an hour and a half than hunt multiple different spots. Any time the stand is less than 30 min he grumbles about not having patience and missed chances.
Partner 4. My wife. Super fun to be around and loves hunting but her lack of experience, shooting skills and fitness level sometimes lead to arguments 😂

3 men covering the 90 degrees a lot of my sets encompass would be a little crowded:D. But in your open ground I can see the benefit-IF i could find 3 guys that I would want to hunt with.

Post the actual survey here, not ask someone to click onto an unknown sight.

I personally don't worry about covering all the directions, I am rarely surprised by a coyote comeing from an unexpected direction. When I'm hunting with a partner if I'm selecting the stand I usually give my partner the best spot to sit and if he picks the spot I try to let him pick his spot and take a different one or go where I'm directed.

If I’m going after something specific, I prefer to be alone.
If I’m going just to go I don’t mind company.
If we have multiple pigs, I’m taking CJ. Once it cools and I don’t have to worry about mosquitoes and snakes I’ll get him back after the coyotes. With our terrain you gotta be quick on the gun and sights!

I start the season out solo and then add a few select buddies (ones with thermal scopes and monoculars) as deer seasons end and they get more time to hunt on properties they have access to.
I also mentored three hunters over the past five years and it's great to get out and hunt with them to see how they've progressed.
I do prefer to hunt solo though as I have a tactical scooter and night vision that enables me to get to stands in minutes very quietly and my buddies don't.

To be clear, the "3-man crew" includes me. 4 guys on a stand is too much.
I've seen some u-tube stuff where they have like 7 guys on stand, including multiple camera guys. Not surprisingly, most coyotes they called in spooked at some point.

I prefer solo...bit of a dog hog. But I do take my one bud in February, March for a few hunts. Usually we are looking for any coyote he manages to hit.🤣

Used to be solo only, now I would like to have another shooter with. Like fishing, rather not go alone.

Fishing... I bought an old fishing boat a couple months ago to take my daughter out fishing. And she wants to go every weekend and we do go every weekend. But I'm already thinking, when she gets married and starts her own family I won't have anyone to go with anymore and will sell the boat.
