pinions please. I was checking them out at the show yesterday. Glass for the price seemed excellent. Korean..? had a set screw like the burris posi-lok. I asked about it, the guy said burris's patent ran out. Overall seemed like a decent scope for under$200. But how does it hold a zero?

I've had a couple of them. They are ok. Comparable to tasco or Simmons. Might be a little better. Mine came off zero by a few inches every season

Have had several of the same model 6-18x44 premier scopes for 3-4 years now. My particular model was discontinued by Swift so price was around 30% less than what it had sold for. Its replacement had the posilock. Bought the old model one to try, ended up buying two more for a couple of inexpensive rifles I'd bought. Scopes have been on 30-06s or others with less recoil, such as a 6.5x55 or 257R. Consider the optics decent and I've no complaints about their turret adjustments for windage/elevation.

Swift website about the glass used in the Premier line is often interpreted that the scope itself is made in U.S. Glass may be U.S., but scope is made in South Korea.

You might want google a site called thesportsmonkey and check their prices on Swift scopes.

I had a Premier. Turn the AO and the reticle walked all over the place. A sure sign of junk. They were very fast in replacing it with a new scope. I was very fast on selling said new scope.....

As I mentioned in an earlier post, what Swift writes and I guess the Sports Monkey too, the info about the glass in their Premier line of scopes being made in U.S. is often interpreted that the entire scope is made in the U.S.

My three Swift Premier scopes all have made in Korea on them. Also, called the Sports Monkey two-three years ago about something. During conversation, I was told Swift made no scopes in U.S., that all came from S. Korea.

P.S. the Sports Monkey is kinda connected to the person who bought the rifle scope divison from the original Swift Optics company years ago.
