Years ago, to many, I had a Contender with the 14" barrel in 35 Remmy. Some where through the years we parted company and I always sorta regretted selling it. When this one came around, I felt the need to snag it. I'm really not sure about the scope though. The FOV is really small so I am thinking about a lower power rifle scope. Need to see if the recoil is going to be to much with my face in line with a rifle scope. Don't really need a shiner.
