T/C venture vs Marlin X7

hey guys im buying my sister an all around caliber for hunting. she is going to use a 243, but my question which gun shoots better? the marlin is 310 and the T/C is 460 fyi because alot of people where i live been asking the price difference. thanks!
 
There's no tellin' which individual "sample gun" is gonna shoot better.

FWIW, I'd buy the Marlin and have money leftover for better optics for Sis.

But then again, T/C has yet to impress me, with anything. Especially a centerfire rifle design.......
 
I have a marlin xs7 .243 and been real impressed with it so far. Field and stream mag did a test a few issues back, and marlin beat out the competitors.
 
I got a xs-7 in 223 and have only fed it factory stuff. Sub MOA with both loads. My daughter killed a big doe with it last year.
