Tanning solution?

Looking for a cheap to make tanning solution for rug or hanging quality skins. Doesn't have to be super for clothing grade hides, just keep em from rotting. would like for it to have easy to locate/cheap ingredients. Wanting to keep some hides (hair on) for a wall.

There's a little more to tanning then a simple tanning solution, Huntinbull.
The best thing to do would be to order what they call a tanning kit. You can get them in various sizes to do a few hides or more.
It'll have all the ingredients you need, with directions. You'll save money in the long run by not guessing what ratios to mix your "cheap, easy to locate" ingredients at.
