Is it a World Class? If so send it in for repair. I think they make you pay $10.
People like to write off Tasco as a unworthy scope for any rifle. Maybe the new ones are. I haven't tried the new ones. I hate to admit it but I've killed more critters with Tasco scopes than all others combined. Mine are all World Class scopes from 15-20 years ago. Back then funds were more limited and when I scraped up enough money for my new rifle, I rarely had enough left over to drop on a expensive scope. I still have a Tasco WC on 2 ARs and my .270 deer rifle. I always said I was going to upgrade my glass on those rifles but I have a hard time doing so when they are working so good still. I have a brand new in the box Bushnell Elite for my .270 sitting on the shelf for the last 1 1/2 years waiting to take the Tascos place but just can't justify it with it working good still. Don't get me wrong, I appreciate quality glass. Being a little less poor than I used to be, now when I get a new rifle I put better glass on these days but the cheap Tasco (world class) served me well. Mine have held zero. I get my deer every year. Usually at extended range. Coyotes still drop like flies. Until they quit working I'll probably leave them on the rifles that have them. I wouldn't slap them on a rifle for a guided elk hunt but in a pinch they worked and still are. Again I can't say what the new stuff is like. I probably jinxed myself now. All 3 will crap out on me tomorrow. lol!
Good hunting
