Like I said, however you want to justify it.  They are not as good of a product as a smith and wesson and they are foreign.  So why would you want to buy one??  I know Dan Wessons are now owned by CZ, and I won't buy one of those either.  I also agree with whoever said Taurus makes things other companies won't or don't.  If a foreign company is making something you want and is not available in american made gun, I understand buying it.  But I can't understand anyone choosing a taurus over a similar smith or ruger.  I don't think this was trash talk.  They asked for opinions and they got it.  I don't try to insult other posters when they post an opinion I don't agree with.  Maybe I struck a nerve?  I truly feel you should buy American anytime you can.  Sorry if you don't agree.
