TC Icon vs TC Icon Precision hunter

I have decided on a TC Icon but was wondering if any of you have expeirence with the TC Icon PH and is it worth the extra dollars. I am getting a 243 and it will primarly be used for coyotes but maybe for some deer also. What are your experiences with these two guns?

Well I finally found a Precision hunter to look at and I have decided on the standard Icon. I fealt the PH was too heavy and actually the standard's bolt was much smoother. In all reality I also felt the venture was smoother than the PH which shocked me.
 
I bought an Icon, with the Hogue stock, in January. So far, it has performed to my sastisfaction. Very accurate, smooth operation and a nice trigger. It is a 243.

I had it out last week, playing with 55gr Nosler Btips. Using a max published charge of BLC-2, I recorded a high of 4,107fps, avg about 4075fps, and had a .8" group.

Using Varget, I had a .4" group at about 3,950fps. So far, so good.

I think you will like the rifle.

I had the PH and it shot to factory specs but I couldn't get it much smaller. As to the second post the standard Icon will probably do you better in the field and save you some $$. Have you looked at the Tikka T3? I prefer them way over the T/C.

I like the T3 that I had but have found the Icon feels better in my hands.
