I weighed out my arrows "4560 Terminator hunter." With a 100 field tip the scale reads 429 grains. Is this sufficient for a 60 lb bow out to 60 yards for mule deer? Or should I go to a 6075? The 4560's are really accurate and I would like to stick with them.
I would say a fixed blade would work at that range for your setup. Alot of things can go wrong at that distance. I would say 45 would alot better range. It's all based on the shooters skills.
i have carbon express wolverine 5060 30 inch arrows with 100 grain walmart brand broadheads, works very well, my bow is at 61 pounds with a 28.5 inch draw 257 fps, pse fitzgerald nova
I was just wondering would the arrow have enough energy at this range to kill (60 yards). I have been practicing out to 60 and can make a shot at this range. I have also read some posts about spines and length of arrows.
