I bitch a lot when it even gets down in the 20's here ...LOL ,
I got a Text on the phone last Night from family relative up in NW. Nebraska, said Wind was blowing hard and with 'wind chill' was down to ( -30 deg ) . it a sure bet you wont ever catch me out hunting in that shit.

Its 8 degrees at the house right now. I was out today walking around and when the wind was up it was legit below zero. This California boy aint liking that.

Snow in Texas! I bet that's kinda fun.

I went hunting yesterday morning in -18 F with about 8 - 12 mph wind (wind chill pushing -30 or so). Sun came out and made it feel warmer. It's not too bad once you're acclimated and geared up appropriately. The canines were quite responsive to rabbit distress.

Texas gets snow frequently, Houston - not so much. DFW is iced in presently. 17F this morning, sun its out. MIL at the ranch finally got the Generac going.
