THE BEAST TRAP.....

lol...

my large live trap is totally completed now except for spray painting...wut color should i spray it?

its 6ft long, 2 1/2ft tall and 1 1/2ft wide.

its made outta electrical 1/2inch conduit for the frame with welded wire fencing to form the cage.

the door is locked shut when tripped by 2 gate latches on each side...

to trip the trap the animal just has to step on the pan to pull the rod from the door and bam...caught critter.

it has been tested on my dog (lab) as well as the neighbourhood stray cats and raccoons...works very well.

so now ima take it to the huntin grounds and get me a few coyotes that r there...

post here if u want link for plans (i modified for mine and made it better) it only cost $65 canadain to make ($48 just for the 50ft roll of welded wire fencing when i only needed 14ft of 4ft wide fencing...so if u can get it by the yard it'll only cost like $25)

just figured id share this info as it works great and is cheap (i was checkin out the net and the same size traps run for like $350 US)

Thanks for the link on the trap.
Looks like a great idea and should work fine.
I'll try to build one after I move to MO and see how it works out.
My wife wants chickens and ducks and a pond so I'll be seeing quite a few predators also I quess.
Thanks again.
