I’m up on the hiline in northern Montana for a few days. Ended up with 5 today and all of them had primo fur for this early in the year. A triple on the second stand and two singles after that. It’s big country and the coyotes will stop way out there and look. Once they stop they almost never come any closer. The average shot distance today was 320 yards. Many days it’s longer than that.
