Looks like ruger is looking to compete with the other cheap guns that shoot well such as tikka, savage, and howa.

Its ugly but what got my attention is 6.25 lbs.

I already see its downfall. The trigger has that stupid safety blade thing on it and only adjust to 3lbs.

For the record my tikka went down to 1lb 12oz and it is crisp! I keep it at about 2lbs 1oz. Guess I'm just a sucker for european guns and I wish I could afford their cars!
 
It looks almost the same as your Tikka for less money

I posted on this gun here and elsewhere but no one has been able to get ahold of one yet. They were supposed to be available by now in the long action calibers. I am interested in getting one in .308 at some point. I will let some others do the sampling first.

There is a review at Gunblast.com. sub-MOA. He was able to get the trigger down to 2 3/4 pounds.
