Very nice, Kevin! I like the McFlame, I like the GameScout pattern,I like the SS against the colors...The fluteing is nnice and the bolt looks great..I could see myself owning a rifle similar...

Nice build, Bud...Sage Rats BEWARE!!!

Thanks for the Good words from everyone, Its been a fun little project to get started on and have it come out the way you had things planned.

I have run it across the chrony both times I have had it to the range, I found a great deal on some factory ammo that was a lot cheaper than buying brass so I bought it knowing that it should work fine for the up coming sagerat hunt and I would have a few hundred pcs of brass out of the deal and brass is not that easy to find for the last little while. the factory ammo shot MOA out of it and is what I kind of expected, I have not shot factory ammo out of anything for over 38 year's and when I did it was pistol ammo... Anyways the factory 20gr pills avg around 3600fps +/-, the load that has shot the best both times to the range has been with Benchmark and the 20gr Z max's, I started out with 19.4grs and worked up to 20.5grs which is a 1/2gr over listed data but there is no signs of excessive pressure, the 20.2gr load shot Great both times and it Avg 4025fps to 4066fps which is what I was shooting for with the shorter barrel. I had planned on this for a little lighter and shorter to run the suppressor on. at some point when or if things settle down a little and the 30gr berger's or Kindlers become more available they are what I had planned for this for Coyotes.

Believe it or not, I actually found my buddy 250 brand new cases last week for $113. The girl was laughing when I called about it and said she wasn't use to saying "yes we have that in stock".

Those 20's are moving along pretty fast. I suspect that will be putting on quite a red mist show when you hit the rats. That will be worth getting video of
