Nope, especially with the big noise enhancer you have on the end. I would have to say the stock 7 1/2 inch barrel is still my favorite.

Hmmmm.... The muzzle brake on this gun does in fact NOT increase the noise level of this gun!

Recoil wise, less recoil than a target loaded 38 special.

Accuracy wise, one ragged hole at 50 yards and 2 inch groups at 100 yards on average.

Have to agree with that. And I never saw a muzzle break that did not make the gun louder. A lot louder at that.

I would have no use for that thing. Rather cool looking though.

Pretty cool looking and a thumbs up for craftsmanship but not my cup of tea either. I have to agree on the break, never seen one that didn't make the gun louder.

No, it's not for sale. It's one I built for a customer.

Pyscodog, thank you for the thumbs up!

I have put muzzle brakes on several hundred 44 magnum revolvers, and at no time have I ever noticed a noise increase with the use of a muzzle brake. The 44 magnum is the only caliber I can say this about, and I have never been able to figure out why.

LOL, the main reason pistols aren't my cup of tea is I suck shooting pistols. I like shooting them but suck doing it. But I do appreciate the time and effort you and others spend building them. I have a couple but they don't get shot much.

That's a pretty cool Ruger. The Super Redhawks are really nice and really have loved the 44 cal. That looks like a really fun pistol.

The guy I built this pistol for is enjoying it as much as I would, if it were mine. He has been sending me targets as he works up loads for it, and it's accuracy is very impressive to say the least!
