Usually we post our great coyotes hunts with a cool story, video and a pic or two,
and sometimes NOT. I figure with all the tension of the last few weeks we could use a laugh.
As I was approaching my set, I was busted on night number one. After stubborn persistence I finally had two coming in on a pup distress only to disappear in the tall grass. The to make matters worse he got up wind of me and started the laughing bark!
And last night will be one for the memory books! I was all setup on the edge of a freshly cut bean field when I heard a short lone howl as one appeared in the beans on the other side.
I didn't think coyotes had thermals however , I got an education, busted again.
And to add insult to injury he circled upwind from me and came blasting across the field, all the time smiling at me!
Then he went and got a friend and two of them raced across said bean field
After they ran around behind me again and disappeared I heard another lone actor up to something
By the end of the evening I felt like I just got schooled and was simply there for their entertainment!
