Im driving to the PostOffice this morning @ 10am. Well past prime spotting time for street walkers (of the canis latrans variety). Low an behold, what should walk across the street in front of me. Had to almost come to a stop for it to cross. For those that don't know, i live in a suburb of Las Vegas, NV. By no means am i out in the sticks. And temps were already at 86°f for the morning. Attached is a link to Google maps at the location of the sighting. I was traveling down Major Ave towards Burkholder.

I’m not sure how you would setup for such a property, but with those temps I would probably run with Foxpro’s tinkling ice cubes in a pitcher sound to lead off. 🤣

Oh the heat has only just begun. We are in a cool down today and tomorrow but only because of wind. We'll be pushing a 100 this coming week. Only goes up from there.

If i would have been in the diesel instead of the wifes avalon, i would have punched the gas instead of hitting the brakes.
Been trying to run one over with my truck for years whenever i see them early mornings on my way to work.
