Lots of folks making Suppressors these days so choice of brand is getting more complicated and picking one can (pun) be daunting.
Thought I would share a story about my Customer Service experience with Gemtech.
I originally bought an HVT QD stainless 30 cal and after almost a year of use I noticed an issue and upon calling Gemtech they said it was not supposed to do that return it.
It seems there was an problem with my threads that held the QD portion and it could not be repaired. They had to destroy and I would have to go thru the process again.
Here is what they did. They upgraded me to the Quicksand QD at no charge and also paid my new Stamp fee of 200.00 and took care of all the paperwork so the dealer did not have to be bothered.
This all took a little time of course and I bought a few items unrelated to my Suppressor and each time I was given a nice discount .....without asking for it.
I was not happy about being without my Suppressor for that period of time but I felt like they absolutely stood behind their product and did what they could in a bad situation.
I have been enjoying my Sandstorm for a couple of months now and felt I needed to let folks out there doing their homework on what to buy. While many Suppressor companies may have good CS I can say Gemtech definitely does and buy with confidence.
I also want to Thank Joey at Gemtech in particular for his help. Not even sure what his title is but was always helpful.
