tick repellent

looking for a tick repellent that you jsut wash into your clothes, suppose to last a few years anybody hear of this

I heard of a tick repellent called Permanone, to be put on clothes, but I don't think it was to last more than an outing. Stuff doesn't repel, but truly kills the tick.

Permanone will actually last several weeks, is even effective through a few washings. But it won't last a few years, never heard of anything that will.

Be very careful if you use Permanone, if you get it on your skin it can accumulate in your body and can kill you.
