Been reading the forums for years but this is my first post.

Finally building out a coyote rig that I have wanted for awhile. Tikka 22-250 in 1:8 twist with 22 inch barrel in a Grayboe Phoenix 2 stock. I plan to test a few different factory ammos as I do not reload.....yet. These are the factory loads that I am going to test.

Hornady 50 Grain VMax Superformance
Hornady 55 Grain VMax Varmint Express
Nosler 55 Grain Varmageddon
Nosler 55 Grain Ballistic Tip
Sierra 50 Grain Prairie Enemy Blitzking

Is there any others that you guys would suggest? Most shots will be 50-300 yards.

Thanks!

HSM does have two offerings in 22-250 with sierra's projectiles. But I don't know if they are better, or on par with what you have listed.
The two offerings in the blitzking are 50 and 55 grs. Might be a option IF the listed ammo you mentioned are not up to your expectations.
But I think your really solid on your choices. I checked Berger's offering for loaded ammo, didn't see any 22-250's.

I very seldom anymore do I shoot factory ammo. But have used the Nosler Varmageddon in my loads in the slower 223, which I like it a lot.
The 8 twist in your Tikka will allow your selection to longer (heavier), higher B.C so that is good depending on your usage.
Per Sierra the 80gr SMK is about the heaviest (longest) they recommend. Berger 85.5grs Hybrid is supposed to be the cat's meow for LR shooting, I haven't tried them yet (sticker shock). But could very well be worth every penny.
Hope this helps
Regards
Mike

The 50 gr Superformance shoots good in my 1-8 Tikka. With speeds usually over 3900 fps, but don't think I've shot them past 200 yds.
My current coyote load is CFE223 and the Hornady 62 gr VT, running about 3400 fps. It has been a deadly combo for coyotes. I shot a coyote
this week at 268 yds with using my Pulsar thermal. That's a long shot for me at night. I'm sticking with the 62 VT.
For factory, I would try the Hornady 50 and 55 gr loads.
