tikka battue

I'm not too familiar with Tikka rifles, but i believe Tikka is owned by Sako. If this is the case then i would recommend Tikka based on that. I own a 25-06 Sako, and it's definitely one of my favorite rifles.

I believe the Battue is a model made for the European market and is not sold here. I'd call Beretta (www.berettausa.com) . One of their Reps. would be able to give you more info.
good luck

The Battue Version of the Tikka is what I assume to be their version of a mountain/guide rifle. It has a shortened barrel just under 20" and a stock that you can adjust the LOP by using spacers. It also comes with hi viz fixed sights.

I own a Tikka Hunter in .243 and like it very much. Tikka gets a lot of favorable comments across the web. I think it's safe to say that if you like the rifle then go for it.

Use your browser's search engine to find a dealer and get a price. Usually they are a special order item. They are imported by Beretta.

One thing to note is that the single stack high magazine is quite spendy if lost or damaged.

I have a tikka T3 Laminate stainless in 338. They are great rifles. I've been very impressed with the accuracy. One of those tikka battue in 9.3x62 would make a handy bear/moose gun.

I have a tikka T3 blued in .223. I was very impressed with it right out of the box. Just slapped a scope on it to go calling and after getting it zeroed. The first 3-3 shot groups with winchester white box hp groups averaged .277 @ 100 yards. Trigger is very nice 2lb and adjustable. With this kind of accuracy I haven't yet taken the time to work up a load for it yet.

Tikka is the newest gun manufacturer i know of. I think they first appeared in 2003. They are excellent rifles, i wanted one but they don't come in LH config. It has the smoothest action out there as far as i know, Sako might be slightly smoother.

Xpert - Tikka has been around for many years. They have been imported for at least 5 years, Sako bought them a few years ago and make them on the same line as their own rifles.

I have a tikka Varmit SS in 22-250 right now i'm shooting the winchester 40gr hp(white box)getting about half inch groups at 100yrds very happy with it so far.Plan to buy a t-3 in .243.I feel you get a very good gun at a good price.

Forgot I saw a Sako yesterday, which I believe is formally pronounced sauko, on the bottom of the barrel just in front of the stock it read imported by Stoeger.

Hi, I've got one for my wife wood/blue in .223 and one for myself in .22-250. Both sweet tack drivers. Smoooth bolt, quick easy adjustable trigger, convenient quiet safety, removable clip, rings included. All good.

My Tikka was manufactured in the late 60s and at that time it was imported under the Ithica name as an LSA-55, I think. Mine is in 22-250 and I recently had it rebarreled with a Shaw, heavy varmint tube. It is still an excellent shooter with a smooth action. I also like the magazine feature. My buddy just bought a new Tikka and it is a tack driver too. I think it is a good choice if you've got the bucks.
